I’ve been leading and working in the charity sector for over 14 years now, focusing on driving growth in services, strategic planning, and building teams that really make a difference. I’m passionate about investing in people—whether that’s helping them grow professionally, personally, or spiritually—and shaping a positive organisational culture.

I love chatting and connecting with people especially over a good coffee. I am passionate about seeing the difference we make through our work at Belfast YMCA.

Outside of work, I love keeping active, running, cycling and getting outdoors with my family.

My Christian faith plays a big part in how I seek to lead and who I am.

Head of Childcare

My role involves taking a lead on our childcare provision across our day nursery and after school facilities. I am passionate about providing high-quality childcare experiences, supporting families in a welcoming, nurturing environment where children can learn, develop and have fun along the way.

I consider it a privilege to be involved in shaping young children's lives and I am proud to lead and work alongside a staff team who are equally passionate about pursuing excellence in their work and dedicated to helping children reach their full potential, making a lasting positive impact on the lives of young children and their families.

Outside of work I enjoy running, meeting with friends and spending time with family.

Head of Youth

I have responsibility for leading on all of the youth projects here at Belfast YMCA. It's a privilege to work with young people and I'm incredibly proud of the diverse range of projects our youth workers engage in from opportunities to experience politics on Youth in Government, to learning about others on Good Relations projects like Ubuntu in schools and Empower to Transform (E2T) in the community, to our fantastic Youth Club and Youth Cafe to supporting our faith-based Connected Youth staff.

In everything we do, we work hard to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people and a place where they genuinely feel welcomed and valued.

Outside of work I have a young family and I love keeping active on my bike and eating out!

Head of Operations

I oversee all internal functions, working closely with our Finance, Facilities, and People teams to ensure everything runs smoothly. In this role, I focus on leading both people and processes with a strategic mindset.

Collaborating with the CEO and board, my goal is to keep operations efficient and aligned with our mission, helping us achieve our charitable objectives.

Outside of work I’m married with two teenagers and a cockapoo who I love to go on long walks with and listen to podcasts.
