St Judes After School Club

Our newest After School club is based in St Jude’s Parish Hall on the Ravenhill Road, opposite Cherryvale Park.

We aim to provide a safe, secure, stimulating and child centred environment, at an affordable cost to parents. We have provision for 30 children each day.

We encourage children to plan activities and resources around their play needs. Typically, the activities that we have on offer will include arts and crafts, messy play, chill out zone, construction, role play, dress up, board games, cookery and lots of outdoor play!

Children will also be supported to complete homework as required.

We have a large and bright upstairs hall, garden space and we regularly use Cherryvale Park for outdoor play and activities.

Our St Jude’s After School Club operates term time Monday Friday 2.00pm - 6.00pm.

Monthly fees are payable 39 weeks of the year and made in 10 equal payments from September to June.

We collect children from St Michaels Primary School, Forge Integrated Primary School and Rosetta Primary School. All collections are on foot.

Holiday Clubs

During Easter, October Half Term and Summer school holidays we operate holiday clubs at St Jude’s.

Parents can choose to book their children in for full or half days. Fees for holiday clubs are in addition to the after school club.

Parents say…

  • The children are exceptionally well cared for especially in the after school club. It is a laid back fun filled afternoon. Good staff child interactions.

  • I have full confidence and huge respect for each staff member they are kind, considerate and give their daily best and create a family atmosphere. Our youngest is now P6 and I will be so sad to finish after schools as the staff have been brilliant and so supportive.

  • The YMCA provide very good after school care. My son always says "pick me up very late", so that he can have more fun.
